One weekend this fall my husband and I decided we needed to get some yard work done. The weather had turned cold and drizzly, and I wasn't looking forward to it much. Once we got outside though there were so many beautiful things in my yard that I was glad we went out. I just had to paint these crabapples before it frosted.

We took a family vacation to to Kootenai, Banff and Yoho national parks this summer. The Canadian Rockies are spectacular. It was an artist's dream. This is painted off a picture my husband took by the river of the Lake Louise campground in Banff.
