- I have always enjoyed art. I have been painting seriously for the last four years. I'm currently studying through the Virtual Art Academy. My favorite Medium is oil paint. I use water miscible oils , a new form of paint that has been modified to mix with water. They work as beautifully as traditional paints, and are as durable but are more environmentally friendly. I find much joy in the beauty of nature & simple things. It is a thrill to try to capture a part of life's exquisite splendor in light, shadow and color on canvas.
