This time of year there are so many inspiring things to paint. The sun is shinning, the flowers are blooming the trees are growing, the clouds are billowing overhead, the people are out and about, shadows are constantly changing. It always seems to me that there is never enough time to paint it all before it's gone or changed. I guess that's one of the allures of art, the act of trying to preserve a fleeting moment that's worth remembering.
