Here is another painting that I did at my workshop. I'm finding the personal instruction and critique so helpful. Sometimes with just a smudge of a hard line or adding the right color or composition suggestions, my instructor is really helping me refine my work.

Renascence

God, I can push the grass apart

And lay my finger on Thy heart!

The world stands out on either side

No wider than the heart is wide

Above the world is stretched the sky,--

No higher than the soul is high.

The heart can push the sea and land
